Job Overview
Ward 34 is a regional specialist unit combining Acute Neurology and Stroke services, providing multidisciplinary care for patients with complex neurological conditions, including a 6-bed Hyperacute Stroke Unit (HSU), Video-telemetry Monitoring, and Sleep Studies.
Note: Applicants without essential qualifications or experience for Band 3 will be appointed at Band 2. Band 2 candidates must be willing to undertake relevant training to progress to Band 3.
Band 3 Requirements include:
* Numeracy and Literacy Level 2 or GCSE A-C/4-9
* Care certificate or equivalent competency workbook completed to Level 3
* Knowledge and experience in clinical care duties at Level 3, including clinical observations and relevant legislation

Experience (Band 3)
* Experience in health or social care

Qualifications (Band 3)

Knowledge and Skills
* Understanding of care behaviors and teamwork
* Knowledge of GDPR and confidentiality
* Awareness of NHS policies
