Job Description As part of the technical expertise organization, the Avionics Expert provides high level support on complex onboard electronic systems. The role involves handling technical events, performing avionics investigations, supporting maintenance activities, and ensuring expert level follow up of avionics equipment across various helicopter platforms. Key Responsibilities expert technical support on avionics systems and onboard electronic equipment (ATA 22 23 24 31 34 42 45 46). investigate and respond to Technical Events (routine, critical, AOG). root cause analysis on avionics incidents and prepare technical reports. in the design, validation and verification of avionics systems in accordance with DO 178C and DO 254 standards. the integration of avionics solutions in aircraft and coordinate with design and maintenance teams. out risk analyses, propose corrective actions and conduct functional testing. review and maintain technical documentation, test reports and internal/external guidance materials. with suppliers, OEMs and partners while ensuring compliance with aviation regulations. Required Skills & Experience Education / Experience: Bac2/Bac3 (BTS/DUT/Licence) or Engineering Degree with experience in avionics or embedded electronics. Experience in PART145, avionics maintenance or technical support is appreciated. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of avionics architectures and embedded systems. Understanding of DO 178C / DO 254 standards and certification constraints. Experience with avionics tools and platforms (Orion, Windchill, Bflow appreciated). Ability to analyze complex technical data and conduct investigations. Expertise on ATA chapters 22 23 24 31 34 42 45 46. Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and work in expert environments Detailed Responsibilities Respond to customer technical queries related to avionics systems and documentation. Perform detailed investigations on in service incidents and support root cause identification. Handle Major Incidents (IM), monitor FST actions and maintain transverse IM tracking databases. Provide expert support for different platforms. Coordinate with internal departments (Design Office, Quality, Support Experts) for corrective actions. Ensure proper configuration management and traceability of avionics systems. Support continuous improvement initiatives and propose technical enhancements. Prepare technical notes, repair sheets and support documentation as required.
