Decontamination Unit Support Supervisor

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to support our Team Leaders within the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit. Your role will contribute to the delivery of high‑quality, safe, and timely services, ensuring compliance with established protocols and standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Support Team Leaders within the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit to deliver high‑quality, safe, and timely services.
* Ensure compliance with CQC, NICE, and medical device regulations, maintaining patient safety at all times.
* Assist in managing the accredited Quality System for sterilisation and decontamination processes.
* Oversee the collection, cleaning, and preparation of reusable equipment for re‑issue using a barcoded tracking system.
* Contribute to services for Operating Theatres, Wards, Outpatient Clinics, Radiology, Emergency Departments, and community healthcare providers.
Additional Information
For regulated activity, a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check will be required. The Trust will pay for the initial check and then deduct the cost from your first salary once employment has commenced. The current price is £26.40 for a standard check and £54.40 for an enhanced check.
