Job Overview
An internal opportunity for employees of GWH, RUH, and SFT to join the Supply Chain Team at Royal United Hospital (Bath). This full‑time role (37.5 hours/week, Mon–Fri 08:00‑16:00) requires a proactive, customer‑focused Supply Chain Supervisor to manage the continuous supply of goods to clinical staff, ensuring safety and availability of products.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure a continuous supply of goods in line with the Trust’s Inventory Management system.
* Schedule visits to clinical departments and conduct stock inventory using the provided inventory management system.
* Investigate inventory discrepancies, problem‑solve, contact suppliers and convey information to stakeholders in a timely manner.
* Oversee picking, packing, sorting and distribution of goods, maintaining a physical and safe work environment.
* Support receipt and distribution duties as required.
* Implement GS1 standards and Scan4Safety methods to drive improvements in supply chain processes.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience working in a warehouse and within a busy environment.
* Proven inventory management experience and knowledge of inventory management practices.
* Strong customer service orientation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience with projects (desirable).
* Relevant professional registration and right to work in the UK.
