Secondary Philosophy Teacher – Harrow

We’re searching for a Philosophy Teacher to join a Harrow sixth form this September. You’ll guide students through the big questions of existence, ethics, knowledge, and truth—helping them develop sharp analytical and critical thinking skills.

Day-to-day you’ll:
4. Teach A-Level Philosophy (and potentially related courses such as Ethics or RE)
5. Deliver engaging lessons that balance theory, discussion, and critical analysis
6. Support students in preparing for exams and higher education pathways
You’re a great fit if you:
7. Hold QTS and have experience teaching Philosophy or RE at KS5
8. Can bring abstract concepts to life through real-world connections
9. Encourage respectful, thought-provoking debate in the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
