Health and Safety Administrator : Worcester

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Health and Safety Administrator to support safety operations and contribute to a robust health and safety culture across the organisation. This is a pivotal role, responsible for maintaining accurate compliance records, supporting training initiatives, and assisting in the delivery of safe and sustainable working practices.

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

The Role
* Maintain all Health and Safety:related documentation in line with legal and company standards.
* Manage daily facilities reporting and provide administrative support for operational requirements.
* Place and track purchase orders using Capricorn and AX systems.
* Organise, schedule, and coordinate all Health and Safety:related training across the division.
* Accurately input and maintain training records in all relevant systems and databases.
* Record, update, and follow up on accident and near:miss reports to ensure timely resolution.
* Document HSEE (Health, Safety, Environment and Energy) meetings and distribute minutes to key stakeholders.
* Provide general administrative support to the Facilities and Quality departments.
* Assist the H and S Manager with preparation and participation in internal and external audits to BSI standards.
* Support the monthly staff induction process for all new hires, focusing on safety orientation.
* Contribute to the implementation and management of COSHH standards and procedures.
* Assist in developing and reviewing Risk Assessments and ensuring procedural compliance.
* Actively promote and support a zero:accident workplace culture.
* Engage in safety awareness campaigns and support broader cultural initiatives around Health and Safety.
* Maintain and submit reports in alignment with legal compliance requirements (e.g. RIDDOR).
* Assist with environmental sustainability and energy:saving projects.
* Support the execution and tracking of legal compliance programs related to H and S legislation.
* Provide assistance in conducting accident investigations and ensure timely follow:up actions.
* Coordinate support for safety representatives, first aiders, and fire marshals.
* Organise and manage occupational health appointments for employees across departments.
* Administer Mazaks Vision Portal, including e:learning modules and DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessments.

Essential Criteria
* Previous experience in a Health and Safety or manufacturing/industrial setting (preferred)
* Familiarity with COSHH, BSI standards, and safety reporting procedures
* IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or working towards)
