We are currently recruiting for a Automation and Controls Engineer to join a market leading FMCG manufacturing company working at their Heavily Automated site in Knottingley. It is a days-based role with a salary paying up to £52,000, complemented by a high benefits package, including a company pension contribution, a discretionary bonus and life assurance scheme. Making sure all Controls and Electrical assets are maintained in compliance with the company's requirements within the health, safety and site standards. Oversee all C&E work (projects and shutdowns, or other) safely and efficiently within the allocated time and budget. Working alongside the Engineering Team across manufacturing excellence, looking at CI and Root cause analysis Useful experience for the Automation and Controls Engineer Qualifications in a relevant discipline (HNC/D Level in C&E Engineering or processes an equivalent qualification) Working with Siemens S5, S7 and TIA Knowledge and understanding of PLCs and Inverters for programming and fault finding Aware of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Being able to perform at the highest level within a dynamic environment and embrace change We are in search of an Automation and Controls Engineer with a strong maintenance background within a manufacturing environment to be able to be proactive in problem solving and achieving outcomes to meet ethical business practise.
