Role Overview:
The Sr Sales Exec – Data Protection Solutions Specialist is responsible for partnering with Digital Security Solution Sellers to develop pipelines, grow new business, and meet bookings targets for Entrust’s Data Protection Solutions, focusing on HSMs within the EMEA region. This overlay sales role collaborates with the Enterprise Named Account and Commercial Accounts sales teams to generate new logo opportunities and expand existing accounts. It requires close cooperation with teams including Account Management, Sales Development, and Pre-Sales Technical teams.
Responsibilities:
* Act as the region’s selling expert for Data Protection Solutions, providing competitive insights and industry expertise.
* Prospect daily, leveraging referrals and collaborating with other Sales Executives for cross-sale opportunities.
* Communicate value propositions through various mediums to prospects in the assigned region.
* Understand customer requirements and propose tailored technical solutions.
* Partner with Technical Sales for product presentations and demos.
* Manage and overcome prospect objections effectively.
* Serve as a mentor within the Sales team on Data Protection Solutions, market trends, and use-cases, sharing sales expertise to support organizational growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Must have experience selling Data Protection Solutions/HSMs.
* At least 8 years of experience in selling IT/Data Security products or services.
* Consistent track record of quota achievement.
* Experience prospecting, building pipelines, and engaging with C-level decision-makers.
* Proven ability to engage and manage customer relationships.
* Strong technical aptitude to quickly learn Entrust’s products, sales strategies, and processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
* Reside within the territory/region and have the right to work there; ability to travel up to 50%.
