Job Title: Buyer (Electrical & Instrumentation)

Key Responsibilities:
* Source and procure electrical and instrumentation equipment and materials for cross-country pipeline projects in the oil and gas industry.
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors specializing in E&I products.
* Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
* Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project schedules.
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand procurement requirements.
* Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and identify new suppliers.
* Manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
* Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, and industry standards.
* Assist in the preparation of procurement reports and forecasts.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
* 4-8 years of experience in procurement within the EPC industry, specifically in the oil and gas sector.
* Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation equipment and materials used in pipeline projects.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
