Based in Cwmbran, South Wales, working as part of the Electrical Design Department. Responsible for the management of teams producing electrical installation models and detail drawings for new product and platform designs.
Also responsible for the checking and approval of all electrical design work to meet company, regulatory and customer requirements.

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Electrical Design team at our Cwmbran site in South Wales.
Your Role
Responsible for producing electrical installation models and detail drawings. Using various software packages for new product and platform designs for new first and business class products and systems.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
3D harness design, electrical schematics and block diagrams.
Responsible for the design and integration of electrical systems within aircraft seats
Generating 2D/3D electrical installation and systems designs using CATIA V5 and PLM software.
Participate in Design Reviews throughout each phase of the New Product Introduction process.
Participate in the validation of the product (using such methods as prototyping, test, etc).
Follow and contribute to the development of the Best Practice guidelines.
What You'll Bring
Ideally qualified to a minimum of a degree in a relevant Engineer subject
Alternatively, a HNC / HND or an equivalent qualification as part of an Electrical Apprenticeship with demonstrated post qualification experience gained within a technical role.
Experience using 3D CAD & AutoCAD electrical software packages or equivalent.
Ability to operate a senior level and act as a mentor or support to more junior members of the team
