About the PositionAs an IT Support Engineer, you will provide engineering expertise, from desktop through to server operational IT Support as well as develop technical solutions for internal partner teams. Your role will be varied across Global support, project-based solutions, installation, configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers. You need to ensure integrity and security of data, server resources, and services, and provide support to end-users. Role and ResponsibilitiesYou will be a key member of the Corporate IT Team that is responsible for: Maintaining and provisioning Cloud based servers and user workstations. Build and manage user laptops through Autopilot. Configure Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for user and group management. Configure and optimize Azure services to meet performance and scalability requirements. Maintain documentation for Azure configurations, procedures, and policies. Maintenance of Microsoft AD services, DNS, DHCP, IIS Maintenance of corporate network, Silver Peak SDWAN, Cisco FTD firewalls via Cloud Distribution of security updates for all servers and laptops. About You Minimum of 5 years varied IT support experience in a similar role. Experience with Directory Services - Active Directory /AZURE AD. Proven experience as a System Administrator with expertise in Microsoft Azure. A relevant IT qualification is desirable such as Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Cisco CCNA or VMWare. Experience working with ITIL framework and associated best practice. Experience with Jira Service Desk highly desirable, or equivalent (ServiceNow). Experience in building and configuring Windows Server 2012. Office 365 administration - User lifecycle, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams etc. Experience supporting the desktop OS (Win10 and 11) and associated applications such as Teams, Outlook and SharePoint.(O365). Good understanding of Networking principles - (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS). The IT Team manages multiple Cisco firewalls, mainly Cloud based through our Cloud partners. An good understanding of firewall terminology and network routing configuration would be an advantage. Excellent understanding of IT security best practices. Experience working within a DevOps environment would be desirable. Experience in Enterprise backup software solutions such as Veeam would be desirable.
