Essential Skills Tutor (Digital Skills) Location: Cardiff / Hybrid / Mobile /Mileage £24,500 to £27,800 plus amazing benefits We have an amazing opportunity for you to work with one of leading national training providers. This role is hybrid and mobile with chance for you to deliver essential skills using digital learning to support their development. The Job: * To train and assess learner knowledge and competence against criteria defined by the relevant awarding body in respect of Essential Skills Wales in Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy. * To arrange, conduct and invigilate controlled tasks with learners undertaking their Essential Skills Qualification Duties and Responsibilities: * To provide literacy, numeracy and digital literacy support within workshops or one to one settings with learners * Ensuring timely achievement of Essential Skills qualifications and skills development * Improving on skills in all areas and achieving the full Framework requirements as well as meeting their full potential * Responsible for registering, arranging, conducting and invigilating controlled tasks with learners undertaking their Essential Skills Qualification in line with award body requirements * Responsible for maintaining accurate, up to date records of all assessment activities. * Deliver training programmes to assigned learners/clients ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved. * Covering a regional area, travelling to visit learners in workplace to undertake assessments * Maintain good working relationships with learners and employers. * Complying with and working within the companies lone working policy Skills qualifications required: * Experience of Work Based Learning and Award Body practices * Experience of delivering Essential Skills Qualifications * Assessor Qualification Award (Desirable) * Qualified or with the potential and willingness to work towards * TAQA Qualification or equivalent qualification (Desirable) * City & Guilds 9300 Level 2 in supporting Adults and Young People in Essential Skills * L3 Essential Skills Practitioner Certificate * Full driving licence with use of own vehicle * Excellent organisational skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Literacy and numeracy skills * Work effectively within a team Due to the high volume of applications Recruited UK receives, we will make every effort to respond with feedback although this is not always possible.
