A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Legal Secretary to join my clients team in their Winchester, Hampshire offices. Job Purpose To assist the allocated fee earner in their day to day running of a caseload. Job Duties You are appointed to assist the members of the Commercial Conveyancing practice area in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. You will be expected to work as a team member within your practice area and the firm. The purpose of the role is to support a Senior Solicitor and Legal Executive undertaking administrative work and minor fee earning work and the preparation of standard documents. Key Responsibilities: • Attending to clients in person and on the phone taking messages and assisting where appropriate; • Managing file opening, closure and archiving; • Assisting with paperwork and completion processes; • Accurate production of correspondence and documentation including through the use of digital dictation; • Completing accounts paperwork; • Photocopying, scanning, faxing, printing, filing and other general administrative tasks; • Undertake file closure activity ensuring balances are appropriately actioned and client confirmation is issued; • Produce draft letters and emails to send clients and external organisations; • Prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch; • Opening, closing and retrieval of client files; ...
