New Directions Education is seeking motivated and caring Teaching Assistants to join secondary schools in Harrogate. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting young people in their learning and development within an inclusive and dynamic environment.
Your Role Will Include:
1. Providing classroom support to teachers and pupils across a range of subjects
2. Assisting students with additional needs to access learning effectively
3. Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
4. Supporting small group work and one-to-one interventions
5. Helping create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment

6. Experience working with young people in an educational or care setting
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills
8. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education
9. Ability to adapt and respond to individual learning needs
10. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
