Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working in partnership with an Aerospace business based within the Sheffield area.They currently have a rare opportunity for a TIG Welder to join their existing team.PAY:£18.87phHOURS:Current hours of work are Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pmCompany benefits:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conduct weld inspection operations to customer drawings.
* Conduct TIG welding as and when required.
* Conduct weld repairs as and when required.
* Ensure products are to the correct tolerances and meet customer as well as internal standards and specifications (NADCAP and AS9100 standards)
* Interpret drawings.
* Work meticulously to work instructions and procedures
* Keep equipment operational by completing autonomous maintenance requirements
* Provide feedback on production issues as and when they arise
* Know and understand company and department policies and safety procedures.

* Work on semi-automated welding equipment for both Circumferential and Longitudinal welds.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* NVQ/qualification in Engineering discipline - Desirable
* Proven track record in welding - Essential
* Must be able to work from 0.7-3ml
* Have experience with exotic alloys
* Aerospace experience – Desirable
* Experience with semi-automated Welding - Desirable
