Overview
Longlands Care Home is situated in Daventry. We offer a happy and safe living environment in which residents can enjoy an enhanced quality of life. Our team provides high-quality care and specialises in supporting people living with dementia. The home aims to provide a home-from-home atmosphere where residents feel comfortable, content and well cared for. You will work closely with the management team, supporting the day-to-day running of shifts.
Responsibilities
* Act as a key worker for a designated resident.
* Ensure residents are supported in all aspects of their life.
* Monitor and administer medication, provide personal care, and follow the individual care plan to maintain health and wellbeing.
* Prioritise and direct the workload of team members, addressing issues as they arise.
* Ensure all administration tasks are carried out with accuracy.
* Input additional information onto care plans as required.
* Liaise with health care professionals.
Qualifications and experience
* Previous experience in care leadership
* NVQ Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care (ideal)

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is subject to an enhanced DBS certificate, at our cost.
