Overview
Rico Facilities Limited is seeking a skilled and adaptable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks across various properties managed by the company whilst project managing multiple projects simultaneously. We are looking for a proactive and resourceful individual who can address diverse maintenance challenges with expertise and efficiency with strong leadership managing a team of 6 engineers.
Core Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to identify and resolve property issues promptly.
* Perform multi-trade repairs and troubleshooting, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, plastering, tiling, and decorating etc...
* Ensure high standards in painting and decorating for both interior and exterior surfaces.
* Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment required for maintenance tasks.
* Accurately record details of maintenance activities, including completed work, materials used, and time spent.
* Manage team members and external contractors to deliver larger or specialized projects.
* Comply with company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
* Must be willing to work away.
* Must have own tools.
* Must have own Vehicle
Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in general maintenance, ideally within a facilities management or multi-trade environment.
* Strong proficiency in several trades, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and decorating.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality work within deadlines.
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
* Ability to manage a team of Engineers to deliver projects.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel between sites across the UK
* Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are advantageous.

Essential Requirements:
* Full UK Driving License. Maximum 6 points preferred.
* Basic tools (to be inspected during the interview).
* Willingness to undergo a DBS check (carried out by the company).
* Willingness to travel and work away.
