This is an exceptional opportunity with Milk Education for graduates looking to begin or further their career in education. As a Graduate Support Assistant, you will work in a dynamic school environment, supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEND). This role offers invaluable hands-on experience for those pursuing careers in educational psychology, social work or other related fields.

As a Support Assistant, you will provide one-to-one and small group support to students, helping them to engage in their learning and personal development in a nurturing and structured environment. This is a highly rewarding job role where you will be working with students on a 1:1 and small group basis ensuring they are achieving both academically and pastorally.

Within this role you will also be working alongside full class teachers, learning from them and supporting them in the classroom providing that essential additional support. We are looking for Graduates to inspire the future generation and improve their whole school learning journey. There will also be opportunities to work within alternative provision settings where you can utilise your degree knowledge and skill set.

Key criteria:

1. Must have a university degree 2:2 or above
2. Previous experience of working with young people would be beneficial but not essential
3. Clear desire to work with young people
4. Willingness to undertake CPD training as asked by Milk and your placement school
