Job Title: Domestic Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated individual to perform a variety of domestic duties to uphold a high standard of cleanliness and ensure a safe and pleasant environment. The ideal candidate will also assist in the kitchen, including serving meals and refreshments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute general cleaning tasks as per the designated schedules.
2. Perform kitchen domestic duties as necessary, including the serving of meals and refreshments, in compliance with relevant food preparation, cooking, and storage regulations and guidance.
3. Safely utilize materials, equipment, and machinery according to manufacturers' guidelines, ensuring secure storage after use.
4. Prioritize health and safety by understanding workplace hazards, adhering to safety protocols, and taking proactive measures to prevent risks to oneself and others.
5. Engage in regular supervision sessions, team meetings, and contribute to effective communication by sharing pertinent information with colleagues.
6. Maintain accurate records as required.
7. Undertake additional duties as directed to meet the operational needs of the service.
Special Conditions:
There may be a requirement to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as per the planned rota. Compliance with any regulatory and legislative vaccination requirements for this role is mandatory.

* Proven experience in domestic or janitorial roles is advantageous.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
