Pastoral Support Worker
Location: Central Northampton | Start Date: 11th September (or as soon as possible)

A valued secondary school in central Northampton is seeking a Pastoral Support Worker to join their dedicated student support team. This is a vital role in helping to ensure the emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development of students across Key Stages 3 and 4. If you are a compassionate, resilient, and proactive individual with a passion for making a real difference in young people's lives, we would love to hear from you.

Staff work collaboratively to ensure that all students are supported both academically and emotionally throughout their school journey.

Role Overview:

* Full-time Pastoral Support Worker

* Start date: 11th September 2025, or as soon as possible

* Work closely with students, families, and staff to promote positive behaviour, attendance, and emotional wellbeing

* Provide one-to-one mentoring and small group support to students experiencing barriers to learning

* Contribute to safeguarding, behaviour management, and the school's wider pastoral care strategies

* Liaise regularly with the safeguarding and SEN teams, as well as external agencies where appropriate
