We’re looking for a Legacy Manager to join our Legacy Administration team.
For over 125 years, we’ve worked to protect places of historic interest and natural beauty, with an annual cost exceeding £570 million. We rely on donations and legacies to support our vital conservation work. You’ll use your expertise to help us preserve these legacies and continue our mission.
We value thoughtful applicants, so please include a cover letter detailing your experience and why you're excited about this opportunity.
What it's like to work here
Reporting to our Head of Legacy Administration, you’ll join a dedicated team of five specialists. You’ll contribute to our new strategy focused on restoring nature, promoting equitable access to natural and cultural heritage, and inspiring action.
Your base will be our head office in Swindon, with an expectation to attend the office. Flexibility is offered regarding your location at other times. You will work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your week, details of which will be discussed during the interview process.
What you'll be doing
You’ll manage a caseload of complex, restricted legacies in accordance with our policies and sector best practices. Effective communication will be essential as you liaise with diverse internal and external stakeholders to maximize this income source. Additionally, you will oversee our Legacy Co-ordinator, supporting them to deliver first-line processes and case management.
For a comprehensive understanding, please view the full role profile attached. Note that you are not required to possess all the listed skills and experience; it provides a full picture of potential responsibilities.
