Sustainability Officer
37 hours per week, based in Preston
£34,286.89 per annum
What will you be doing in this role?
You'll be a part of our Asset Management team, whose overarching purpose is to ensure our?tenants?live in well-?maintained?and safe homes. The Asset Management Team?are responsible for?providing an excellent repairs and maintenance service We have around 7000 properties across Preston, Fylde and South Ribble.
This role supports the delivery of CGA's sustainability strategy by contributing to projects that improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and strengthen sustainable housing initiatives. You will ensure effective systems and processes are in place to manage sustainability elements of contracts, oversee grant-funded programmes to achieve energy performance targets and work with managers across the organisation to provide sustainability advice and guidance.
What we are looking for in you
We are looking for someone who shares our values and puts our tenants at the heart of all they do.
The main things:
You'll have a good knowledge of sustainability principles and climate change issues.
You'll be qualified to, or willing to work towards, a degree or equivalent level qualification related to sustainability.
You'll have a full driving licence and a vehicle with business insurance to travel locally as required.
You'll have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role with experience of research, data analysis, or project work in relation to sustainability.
