This is your chance to be at the heart of it all. We are seeking Senior Project Managers with experience in the Energy sector to join us in our offices across the UK. These projects span energy from waste, solar, interconnectors, windfarms, substations, OHL, energy building design, protection systems, LVAC, pump stations, and more. You will work with a growing, collaborative team to deliver innovative and sustainable projects addressing industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges, contributing to the UK energy transition.
You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects throughout the project lifecycle, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget, and to a high quality. You will identify and mitigate risks, manage budgets and resources, and lead high-performing project teams with clear communication.
Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout.
* Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver projects on time, to budget, and to quality standards.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; monitor progress and report status to stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain project budgets, resource plans, and forecasts; coordinate with PMs for proposals, change orders, status reports, and financial updates.
* Engage with clients and external partners to ensure alignment and clear communication across the project.
* Work within NEC contracts and ensure compliant project delivery processes.
About You / Qualifications
* Ideally a degree in a relevant field; APMP qualifications would be an advantage.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
* Experience in project management within the energy/engineering consultancy sector, including project setup and financial monitoring.
* Experience coordinating with PMs on proposals, change orders, status reports, financial updates, and forecasting.
* Experience working with NEC contracts is a must.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative, multi-team environment.
* Attention to detail, initiative in problem detection and resolution, and ability to multi-task between multiple projects.
