Caravan Coffee Roasters is an award-winning speciality coffee roaster and restaurant business. We began roasting in the basement of our Exmouth Market restaurant in February 2010, and since then have built a team of dynamic coffee driven professionals who work together to produce exceptional coffees. We are constantly developing, improving and evolving, creating long-term relationships and partnerships along the coffee supply chain. Hours
Minimum 32 hours per week
Salary
Starting rate of £13.15 depending on experience
Duties and responsibilities :
• Delivering coffee and bakery goods from roastery via CCR company van ensuring that all customer orders are complete
• Packing the goods in the delivery vehicle in an organised manner that matches the order in which the deliveries will be made
• Planning the shortest and best routes to clients by taking factors like roadblocks and traffic into consideration
• Ensure van is fully charged overnight and kept clean and well-maintained
• Using GPS navigation apps and knowledge of the area to deliver packages to customers on time
• Doing regular maintenance checks on delivery vans and informing management of any issues
• Delivering products in good condition to clients
• Interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner
• Unloading packages at the destination and getting clients to sign the necessary paperwork
• Updating route, mileage and delivery logs
• Participation and assistance on production floor as and when required
Requirements:
Clean driving licence (no driving disqualifications within the last three years)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Physically fit; ability to handle packages of various weights and sizes with care
Flexibility with schedule and changes to daily routine or additions to usual routes
Bring a positive energy to work – in particular when delivering to customers and representing the company
