We are looking for experienced Occupational Therapist in the Central Belt of Scotland to join a fantastic team looking to make a difference to service users in the community. The ideal candidate will have moving and handling experience, assessing users who have complex needs for equipment such as specialist beds, seating, and carrying out safety assessments and assessments for major adaptations.
Great pay opportunity of up to £37 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
7. Monitor and review decisions made following social care assessments, ensuring the development of staff and services to improve outcomes for Manchester residents.
8. Actively lead in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of changes in working practice and service delivery to ensure the delivery and continuous improvement of high quality services.
9. Ensure that services are appropriately and sufficiently funded by developing and setting budget plans and monitoring expenditure against these plans to ensure the efficient use and deployment of physical resources across teams. This may include identifying sources of funding, preparing funding bids and providing regular updates and information to funding providers.
10. Ensure the maintenance of accurate and appropriate records enabling the service to develop People, Pride, Place.
11. Report achievements against local and national performance targets.
12. Roles at this level may be required to undertake management duties, either through direct line management of a team (including appraisals, performance management and other duties) or through matrix management of a virtual team of officers.
13. Personal commitment to continuous self development and service improvement.
14. Through personal example, open commitment and clear action, ensure diversity is positively valued, resulting in equal access and treatment in employment, service delivery and communications.
Requirements:
15. Occupational Therapist degree or equivalent.
16. Member of the PVG scheme.
17. Registered with Scotland Social Service Council (SSSC).
18. Knowledge of theory and practice of care assessment, planning and detailed knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and its application.
19. Supervisory skills, as may supervise students, trainees, support staff and volunteers.
20. Analytic, planning and communication skills.
