About The Role
The Compliance Officer will support the Estates Compliance Manager in monitoring, recording, and reporting on statutory compliance across the College estate. This includes coordinating statutory testing and inspections, maintaining robust records on the CAFM system, and working with contractors, managers, and staff to ensure compliance obligations are consistently met. The role provides assurance to senior leaders and regulators by ensuring all evidence is accurate, up to date, and audit ready.

Main Responsibilities
* Support the Estates Compliance Manager in delivering the College’s statutory estates compliance programme across all campuses.
* Maintain accurate compliance records and certification within the CAFM system, ensuring audit‑ready evidence at all times.
* Coordinate planned statutory checks and inspections (e.g. fire safety, legionella, asbestos, gas, electrical, lifts), ensuring remedial actions are logged, tracked and closed.
* Monitor contractor performance in relation to compliance works, ensuring service standards and timescales are met.
