Our Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious History specialist who is looking for a step up to become Head of History. You’ll be leading a team of talented History Teachers, and History graduates that will train to become teachers.

Ideally, the Head Teacher is looking for a History Teacher with experience of being a 2iC, KS3 / KS4 Coordinator or having similar responsibilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Lead Practitioner of History (History Teacher)
2. Delivering History lessons to KS3,4 & 5
3. Supporting the current HOD & Graduates coming through the School
4. Focus on raising attainment and the quality of learning
5. September start – Full Time – Permanent
6. £50,025 to £60,943 per annum (dependant on experience)
7. Located in Hertfordshire
PERSON SPECIFICATION
8. Must have a UK QTS!
9. Previous experience as a History Teacher is essential
10. Strong understanding of the History curriculum
11. Must be able to work well within a team of History Teachers
12. You must be ambitious and looking to grow within the School
