Accounts Payable Assistant | £25,000-30,000 | Flintshire
We are recruiting for a successful business based in Flintshire who are currently undergoing a very exciting journey.
The finance function has grown significantly over the last 12-18 months and is now recruiting for their next member – an Accounts Payable Assistant.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Processing purchase ledger invoices – matching, batching and coding
* Dealing with supplier queries on invoices and look to get resolved in a timely and efficient manner
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Setting up new suppliers on the system, verifying and requesting information
* Managing everything up to payment runs
* Processing expenses
* Other duties when requested to support the rest of the business
For this role, you must have:
* Experience working in a purchase ledger role before
* Good systems knowledge, ideally ERP
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders internally as well as suppliers
* Motivation to learn and develop and be accountable for your own standards
