They’re now looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to help elevate their supply chain capability and maintain exceptional standards across materials, components and services. What you’ll be doing Developing and maintaining robust supplier quality assurance processes aligned with ISO9001, AS9100 and customer requirements Conducting supplier audits, assessments and process reviews (UK and occasional overseas travel required) Managing supplier non-conformances through structured problem-solving and root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why) Collaborating with engineering and suppliers during new product introductions to validate manufacturing processes Reviewing and approving quality documentation including FAI, PPAP and supplier submissions Tracking supplier performance metrics and leading improvement initiatives to enhance delivery, quality and reliability Supporting supplier development through coaching, guidance and technical support Contributing to broader quality and continuous improvement projects within the business What we’re looking for Essential: Experience in supplier quality, manufacturing engineering or quality assurance (3 years) Essential: Internal auditing experience to ISO9001 or AS9100 standards Desirable: HNC/HND or degree in an engineering discipline Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications Confident communicator with excellent influencing and negotiation skills Problem-solving mindset with hands-on experience of 8D, FMEA or similar tools Organised, analytical and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams Why join this business? 9-day fortnight – enjoy every other Friday off!
