We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected independent healthcare provider for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join a specialist female inpatient DBT service in Stockport. This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly reflective, therapeutic setting supporting women with complex emotional needs, self-harm, and trauma histories. About the Service This 10-bed specialist ward supports women of working age with emotional regulation difficulties and high-risk behaviours. Care is guided by Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), delivered by a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, OTs, nurses, and a consultant psychiatrist. Why Join This Team? Uphold safeguarding, medication, and regulatory standards. What We’re Looking For Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration. 6–12 months post-registration experience and completed preceptorship. Interest in DBT and trauma-informed care (prior experience not essential). Strong communication, clinical, and teamworking skills. Positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
