This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting new and existing aerospace and high-precision manufacturing projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance. Quality Engineer Responsibilities: Support quality activities across new and existing projects, working closely with customers to understand and meet their requirements Produce and review FAIR (First Article Inspection Reports) in line with customer and industry standards Programme and operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) for inspection and validation activities Generate and maintain detailed inspection reports and quality documentation Create and manage ballooned drawings to support inspection processes Conduct and support FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) and MSA (Measurement System Analysis) activities Liaise with internal teams and customers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement Ensure compliance with industry standards, procedures, and customer specifications Quality Engineer Requirements: Proven experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing or engineering environment Strong working knowledge of: FAIR documentation CMM programming and operation Inspection reporting FMEA and MSA methodologies Balloon drawing interpretation and creation Experience working directly with customers on new project requirements Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, production, and quality teams
