Role overview
As the National Restructuring Compliance Senior Manager, you will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and developing standards for restructuring work across all UK offices. This role supports the restructuring team in regulatory compliance and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Stay updated on compliance, regulatory, and technical developments.
* Communicate changes to the compliance team and relevant parties.
* Contribute to the bi-monthly restructuring newsletter.
* Improve restructuring procedures, including checklists, letters, templates, and case management diaries.
* Coordinate training needs with location technical representatives and the Learning and Development team.
* Support location Technical Committee representatives in review issues.
* Provide first-line support for technical inquiries and log queries for knowledge sharing.
* Develop knowledge of GDPR and AML related to restructuring.
* Maintain and update the Compliance portal page.
* Assist with external and RPB reviews, including drafting responses.
* Summarize review findings and conduct in-house desktop reviews for continuous improvement.
* Report serious issues to the National Technical and Compliance Director.
* Identify areas for improvement, suggest solutions, and implement changes.
* Support policy decisions with full buy-in from relevant stakeholders.
* Organize technical committee meetings and act as secretary.
* Manage document packs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Collaborate across departments and undertake additional projects as needed.
Qualifications
* Extensive insolvency experience in a professional practice.
* Strong technical knowledge; JIEB or CPI qualification preferred.
* Good knowledge of IPS or similar case management systems.
* Excellent time management and responsiveness.
* Experience in implementing internal procedures and compliance reviews.
* Analytical skills with commercial acumen.
* Excellent communication skills for all levels.
