Your new role
As a Marketing Manager, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering marketing and engagement activity across the organisation. This is a varied and strategic position where you will provide leadership, direction, and hands-on support to ensure the delivery of impactful campaigns.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and supporting the marketing and engagement team to deliver high-quality outputs
2. Overseeing the appointed external marketing agency alongside the Marketing Officer to successfully implement the summer marketing campaign
3. Preparing the organisation’s Annual Report for the Board, including gathering information and writingpelling copy in collaboration with the Director
4. Supporting the Director and wider team with a Marketing Audit and Review to help define the future strategy of the department
5. Creating persuasive project collateral to support the Board’s Ie Generationmittee
This is an excellent opportunity for amercially minded and creative marketing professional to influence strategy while remaining close to delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you will be an experienced Marketing Manager with a strong blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
You will bring:
6. Proven experience in marketing management and campaign delivery
7. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels
8. Excellent copywriting andmunication skills, with experience preparing reports or board-level materials
9. Experience working with external agencies and managing marketing partnerships
10. The ability to analyse and contribute to marketing strategy and organisational reviews
11. A proactive, organised, and results-driven mindset
Experience within the charity, public sector, or cultural/visitor attraction environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
What you'll get in return
The role is offered on a temporary basis for an initial 3 months.
Option to work 4 or 5 days per week.£175 - £200 per dayBased in Carmarthen. Hybrid working
