Job Title: VAT Manager/VAT Senior Manager
Location: Fully remote role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated VAT Manager/ Senior Manager to join our client, working in a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage VAT advisory and compliance services for a diverse portfolio of clients
* Provide expert guidance on VAT-related issues, including cross-border transactions, partial exemptions, and complex VAT structures
* Work closely with clients to ensure VAT planning, risk management, and compliance with the latest legislation
* Identify and implement VAT-saving opportunities, while minimizing risks
* Manage VAT audits, inquiries, and disputes with HMRC
* Develop and mentor junior team members, helping them to achieve their career goals
* Stay updated on VAT legislation and provide insight on the impact of changes
Requirements:
* Must be ACA/CTA qualified with significant VAT advisory experience
* Strong knowledge of UK VAT regulations
* Proven experience in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality VAT advisory services
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving environment
