Join to apply for the Mechanical Supervisor role at Adjudication Services Ltd. The role is a 6‑month contract delivering mechanical systems for large‑scale regeneration schemes across London.
Role Overview
The main duty is to oversee the installation work conducted by mechanical tradespeople, conduct inspections, maintain safety procedures, and manage inventory of machine parts.
Responsibilities
 * Coordinate mechanical services and ensure seamless integration with other trades.
 * Plan and schedule work to align with project timelines.
 * Manage installation of heating and ventilation systems.
 * Oversee procurement and timely delivery of materials.
 * Ensure QA compliance for all primary equipment installations.
 * Verify and sign off heating and cold water tests before wall & ceiling closures.
 * Conduct QA inspections for flat ducting installations per project specifications.
 * Oversee and witness all system testing, including inhibitor flushing, chlorination flushing, flow rate measurements, and MVHR extract performance tests.
Qualifications & Experience
 * Experience in a similar mechanical supervisor role or comparable.
 * Experience on residential or mixed‑use building projects.
 * Mechanical Trade Qualification – NVQ in plumbing or heating.
 * Prior supervision experience in mechanical installations.
 * Strong understanding of piping systems; ability to interpret drawings and schematics.
 * Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.
 * SSSTS experience.
 * Field working knowledge of 4 projects.
