Heating Sales Consultant
£30,000–£40,000 basic + uncapped commission
Are you an experienced Engineer or do you have good experience working within the plumbing & heating industry, who enjoys talking to customers and wants to move fully off the tools into a sales-focused role?
DMR Plumbing & Heating LTD are a well-established, trusted local plumbing & heating business, growing rapidly. We’re looking for a Heating Sales Consultant to focus purely on boiler replacement sales and in-home quoting.
This is a technical sales role, not an engineering role so your value is your knowledge, credibility, and customer trust.
Our team provide services in Gas, Oil & LPG so experience within all areas would be an advantage but not essential.
The Role
As a Heating Sales Consultant, you will:
* Visit customers to assess boiler replacement requirements
* Use your technical knowledge to recommend the right heating solution
* Produce accurate, in-home quotes using our CRM system
* Explain options clearly and professionally (no pressure selling)
* Close boiler sales and earn commission on every sale
* Liaise with the installation team to hand over sold jobs
All appointments are warm leads from our existing customer base.
What We’re Looking For
* Experienced employment within plumbing & heating industry.
* Strong knowledge of domestic boilers and heating systems
* Confident, friendly, and professional with customers
* Comfortable using tablets, CRM systems, and digital quoting tools
* Sales-minded but honest and customer-focused
* Motivated by commission and career progression
* Looking to move fully into a technical sales role

Commission & Earning Potential
You’ll earn commission on every boiler replacement you sell, with no cap.
There is no cold calling and no hard selling, as customers already trust our business and are looking for expert advice. This role rewards people who communicate well and provide genuine, technical guidance.
