Warehouse and Logistics Administrator
Location: Fully on-site at our workshop in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST6 4PB. You must have the ability to reliably commute, or plan to relocate before starting work.
Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Salary: £23,500 pa (£25,000 after probation) plus performance bonus scheme.
Due to changes in internal process, we’re looking for an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Administrator to co-ordinate various warehouse and logistics processes. Our electrical laboratory and warehouse is one of the major hubs of our operation. Just like magic – faults go in, fixes come out, tests are completed to perfection and each bit of kit leaves like brand new!
This is a great opportunity for a strong administrator with excellent organisational skills who is happy to get hands-on in a busy warehouse environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:
No two days will look the same in this role, but generally, you can expect a mix of the below accountabilities:
* Co-ordinating the product repairs and maintenance process ensuring all goods in and out are correctly booked in, documented and tracked.
* Administration support of the RMA process.
* Stock management including co-ordination of spares stock and re-ordering spare parts from suppliers, and reconciliation at both on-site and off-site storage locations.
* Arranging shipment of goods to customers via a range of logistics solutions and associated shipping documents.
* Product re-work/re-labelling/re-packaging.
* Ensuring health and safety is the priority for all activity undertaken.
* Working with colleagues to ensure tasks and activities are carried out in a safe manner.
* Ensuring all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used at all times

An understanding and competence in:
* Strong administration experience accurately recording data, (dates, stock etc.)
* Warehouse and logistics paperwork (packing lists, dangerous goods notes, transport bookings etc.)
* Working knowledge of the freight forwarding processes.
* Ability to effectively communicate via email and telephone to customers and suppliers regarding delivery bookings.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong IT skills including ability to effectively use spreadsheets, produce reports and comfortably deal with volumes of data.
