Duties
* Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
* Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
* Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction
* Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
* Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to during food preparation and service
* Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting kitchen staff when necessary
* Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organisation
* Clear tables and assist with setting up for subsequent service periods
* Provide attentive guest services, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly
* Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including table settings and service stations
Qualifications
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
* Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to ensure positive guest interactions
* Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
* Experience with guest services, upselling, and working in a fast-paced environment is desirable
* A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
