In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining traditional lathes to fabricate and shape various materials with the highest level of precision. Job Responsibilities In this role as a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for: Manual machining ( centre lathe turn ing ) / Screw Cutting Us ing hand tools to measure, mark, and cut materials Monitor ing machine performance and make adjustments as needed Inspect ing finished products for quality and accuracy Adher ing to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area Person Specification Proficiency in tooling for traditional lathe operations Previous experience in measurements and calculations Strong mechanical knowledge of lathe operations Familiarity with hand tools used in lathe turning Ability to fabricate and shape materials according to specifications Experience in materials handling and proper storage techniques You will be a self-motivated person, who is punctual and reliable and takes pride in always delivering the highest levels of service.
