A fantastic opportunity to join our Community Dermatology Service as a Healthcare Assistant around Cumbria and Lancashire area. This role is ideal for somebody who enjoys working independently, while being part of a supportive and friendly team, working together to make a difference to how health services are delivered to patients. An ideal candidate would have previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a GP practice, hospital, or any other clinical setting with a passion for making the patient journey as comfortable as possible. Following full training, you will be supporting our dermatologists and nurses in face‑to‑face clinics as well as assisting with minor procedures, and you will conduct your own medical photography clinics where you will complete questionnaires with patients and take some specialised images. This will be Monday to Friday, however weekend work may sometimes be required. You will be working based on the rota with clinics starting as early as 8 am and finishing as late as 6 pm.
* You will ensure the clinic is always fully stocked and tidy and assist with stock checks and ordering supplies.
* You need to be able to enter notes into electronic patient records.
* You will be part of a friendly team that strives to deliver excellent dermatology care to our patients.
