Here at GXO Logistics, we are currently looking for a full‑time, permanent Yard Controller to join our team in Basingstoke for our customer, one of the largest chain of supermarkets in the UK, Sainsbury’s.
You will be working on a shift pattern of Any 3/4 from 7 with the hours of 07:00 – 19:00.

What you will do on a typical day:
* Ensure the efficiency of trailer availability
* Responsible for liaising with the depot shunting team
* Identify and manage vehicle movements within the site
* Ensure vehicles are presented for maintenance on time
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Ability to build collaborative relationships across the teams
* Understanding of the Warehouse and Transport functions
* PC literacy to be able to use the dock scheduling system
* Strong problem‑solving skills and be able to make decisions
