About the Role
As a Live-in Carer with Nationwide Care, you will support the provision of care that meets the physical and emotional needs of the individuals we support. You will look after one person or a couple, providing care and companionship, following a person-centered care plan tailored to your clients’ needs.
Live-in carers live with clients for the duration of their chosen rota pattern (e.g. 2, 4 or 6 weeks). You will assist with daily activities, personal care, and managing conditions such as dementia.
We offer comprehensive training and support from our team of caring experts.
Main Duties
* Matched with a client based on skills and client’s needs, providing tailored support and companionship
* Providing a daily average of 10 hours care provision
* Managing medical conditions such as dementia, stroke, and Parkinson’s
* Assisting with personal care such as washing, bathing, or toileting
* Administering medication
* Cooking, cleaning, and ensuring the smooth running of the house
Qualifications
* Previous professional experience as a support worker or care assistant in a residential or domiciliary care setting, or personal experience supporting a family member or friend
