Job overview


We seeking to appoint an exceptional effective and inspirational leader, who is committed to high standards and can play a key role under the overall direction of the headteacher in ensuring the vision, ethos, values and goals of the school are communicated positively to colleagues, parents/carers, students and external agencies.

They will work in partnership with the Headteacher and other members of the Senior Leadership Team to provide vision and leadership for the school. They will monitor and develop conditions which enable effective quality of education and best possible outcomes for all students.

The successful candidate will have a track record of successful outcomes for students from a wide range of backgrounds. They will have the ability to develop others to improve performance and have the highest expectations of students and colleagues.

Maricourt is committed to the safeguarding of its students. Enhanced due to the nature of the work, the post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful candidate must be able to obtain a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure (via the Criminal Records Bureau) in order to be appointed to the post.
