What you will do:
1. Prepare manual certificates of interest and support the annual production, testing and sign off within agreed timescales
2. Prepare, review and produce data related to tax residency self-assessment forms & NINO mailings
3. Review held ISA payments, providing instructions to reject or apply in line with HMRC guidance
4. Remediation of ISA’s oversubscribed/Invalid subscriptions in line with HMRC guidance producing written confirmation to customers
5. Coordinate and produce and submit reporting to HMRC for ISA’s, BBSI, US FATCA & CRS by analysing data in line with scheme and business requirements
6. Prepare quarterly CT61 returns. Submit payments and related paperwork to HMRC
7. Support with HMRC Audit requests and the annual CISA & CASS assurance reviews
8. Prepare monthly CASS fails & rejection data to stores, working with the leadership team to highlight areas of improvement
9. Calculate and apply interest adjustments related to ISA transfers and reinvestments and providing detailed commentary for complaints in verbal and written formats
10. Complaint handling and being able to turn a detractor into a FAN
11. Speaking with our FANs, colleagues, and external providers on the team phone line. Providing support and fantastic service to achieve internal KPI/SLA’s

12. Strong understanding and knowledge of ISA & CASS processes, regulations/scheme rules, and be proficient in using associated systems
13. Product knowledge including account opening, closing, and how interest payments are calculated and data reported
14. Attention to detail; understand importance of right first time and the impact of not
