Land Acquisition Manager - Wind development - £55-60k - London Hybrid
* £55 to £60k plus bonus and benefits

* MRICS, land managers, property, residential or renewables backgrounds welcome
Our client is seeking:
A land or property professional with experience securing land rights for large-scale energy, infrastructure or development projects, and a solid understanding of the rural or utility landscape in the UK.
Position overview:
This role focuses on identifying and securing land across Scotland for utility-scale renewable projects including solar, battery storage and hydrogen. You will work closely with landowners, agents, and internal teams to bring forward viable development sites.

Key responsibilities:
Land origination and engagement
• Source and qualify suitable land for renewable development
• Build relationships with landowners, agents and introducers
• Secure exclusivity and consent for grid connection applications
Negotiation and legal support
• Negotiate terms for leases, access rights and easements
• Support legal completion of land agreements
• Ensure agreements align with grid and planning requirements
Cross-team collaboration
• Work with grid and development teams to identify priority areas
• Support the private wire division in Scotland
• Join weekly team meetings and contribute to strategy
Reporting and CRM
• Track leads and manage pipeline activity in the CRM
• Provide updates and reports for funders and internal stakeholders
Key qualifications and experience:
• Minimum three years’ experience in land, property or development
• Background in rural, infrastructure or renewables preferred
• Proven negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Understanding of planning policy and land constraints
• Network of landowners or introducers desirable
• Comfortable generating new leads and engaging directly with landowners
• Strong organisation, communication, and time management
• Full UK driving licence
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Earth
• Familiarity with energy networks or grid connections is a bonus
