VANRATH are assisting our client, a large scale manufacturer, in their search for a Procurement Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. This role will be based in the company's Lisburn office - Permanent role Salary: Negotiable Monday to Friday (8.00am - 4.30pm, and 12.30pm finish on Friday!) Key Responsibilities Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and maximise purchasing power. Negotiate favourable contracts with suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and periodic reviews. Maintain stock control and audit systems to meet production, delivery targets, and business objectives. Oversee goods-inwards and storage operations for efficiency, safety, and optimal space utilisation. Maintain and monitor the central materials budget to control purchasing costs effectively. Analyse customer schedules, forecast material requirements, and provide purchase orders to suppliers. Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety regulations while driving continuous improvement. Lead and develop staff to maintain high performance, training, and motivation standards. Support IT system improvements and implement operational enhancements.
