This is a newly created vacancy due to business growth, offering a great opportunity to join a stable and developing team. Key vacancy information This is a permanent role based in Chesterfield and requires office working ( not remote) Immediate start Full time Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm Your new roleReporting to the Group HSE Manager, you will provide key administrative and coordination support to ensure the smooth running of HSE processes and systems. This role will involve working with data, maintaining records, and ensuring documentation is up to date to support compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. Key responsibilities include: Maintaining and updating HSE records including training logs, incidents, risk assessments, and COSHH documentation Producing routine reports using established templates and existing data Logging and tracking actions from audits, inspections, and incidents through to completion Organising and maintaining documentation to ensure audit readiness Supporting environmental record-keeping such as waste, energy, and recycling data Coordinating inductions, training records, and contractor documentation Providing general administrative support to the Group HSE Manager What you’ll need to succeed Previous experience within an administrative or data entry role High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail Confident working with Excel and managing data Well organised with a methodical approach to tasks Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Desirable: Experience within manufacturing or construction environments IOSH qualification or an interest in developing within HSE but not essential What you’ll get in return Salary of £28,000 - £30,000 Permanent job Onsite working only in Chesterfield Opportunity to build a long-term career within HSE Exposure to ISO standards and compliance processes Supportive and structured working environment Stable, full-time onsite role with standard weekday hours What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click ‘apply now’ to submit your CV, or contact Hays for a confidential discussion. 4798181
