Who you'll be working with: The Operations Support Engineering team partners with business leaders and teams to provide an outstanding technical and work environment for all employees. The team undertakes a variety of jobs across desktop, AV, and facilities support.
Responsibilities:
1. Play a lead role in projects focused on enhancing Liberty IT's office environments, desktop and device hardware and software, and digital communications for different meeting experiences (in-person, hybrid, virtual).
2. Facilitate project delivery, ensuring team members own, score, and deliver tasks or stories.
3. Facilitate stand-ups and agile ceremonies, and communicate progress regularly.
4. Contribute to energy efficiency initiatives to meet Liberty IT's sustainability goals.
5. Mentor and guide junior team members.
6. Partner with employees and team members to maximize business value.
7. Promote continuous improvement and best practices to enhance employee experience, safety, and security.
8. Review and contribute to engineering and operations standards.
9. Participate in creating solutions with the wider team.
10. Grow knowledge of IT systems, networks, digital communications, hardware, and office environment practices.
11. Assess and adopt new solutions using data-driven approaches.
12. Share knowledge through internal talks, blogging, and external events.
Technology Support Responsibilities:
* Lead support for maintaining software, hardware, AV, and office environments during working hours.
* Manage onboarding processes, device setup, and support requests.
* Proactively develop solutions for recurring issues and document them.
* Support on-site, hybrid, and remote AV and digital communication tools (Zoom, MS Teams).
* Manage office environment support, including space management, capacity, and intra-office moves.
* Contribute to energy efficiency initiatives.
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum of five years' experience in technical and maintenance support for large-scale office environments.
* Experience in delivering software, hardware, and office environment projects.
* Knowledge of agile delivery practices.
* Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
* Partnering closely with end-users to resolve issues and create solutions.
* Current and valid industry-recognized certifications.
