The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a City Centre Business Information Co-ordinator to join our Public Engagement team, and support the delivery of business readiness and engagement activity across the city centre and key areas of the Games Corridor - ensuring businesses are informed, prepared and activated in advance of the Games.

Alongside enhancing business readiness for the Games, the City Centre Business Information Co-ordinator will proactively engage businesses with the Glasgow 2026 ‘All In’ brand and activation programme - encouraging participation, promoting opportunities for activation to make sure the business community comes alive, and maximises benefits from the Games.

You’ll proactively connect with businesses through visits, meetings and drop-ins, provide clear updates on Games activity and impacts, and encourage participation in the All In activation programme. You’ll also track feedback and enquiries, escalate risks or opportunities, and ensure commitments to businesses are followed through.

Key Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role you will bring experience in a customer‑facing, stakeholder engagement, business support or place‑based role, and be a confident communicator who is comfortable initiating conversations and meetings with businesses. Highly organised and process‑driven, you will be self‑motivated, proactive, and able to manage your workload while maintaining strong attention to detail and accurate records across databases or CRM systems. You will demonstrate strong written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment with shifting priorities. Experience working within major events or large‑scale projects, supporting monitoring or evaluation activities, and having knowledge of the Glasgow business community will be advantageous.
