Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Contract Manager to take full responsibility for the delivery, performance, and commercial management of hard FM services across one of our national portfolios.
This role will be based in Dartford, with weekly travel to the Midlands and occasional travel to other UK sites as required.
You will lead teams, manage subcontractors, ensure statutory compliance, and act as the key point of contact for clients, driving service excellence, continuous improvement, and contract profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Contract & Client Management
* Take full ownership of hard services delivery in line with contractual SLAs and KPIs
* Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships
* Lead client meetings, performance reviews, and reporting
* Identify opportunities for service improvement and added value
Hard Services Delivery
* Manage planned and reactive maintenance across M&E systems including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building services
* Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements (H&S, SFG20, HTMs where applicable, L8, LOLER, PUWER, etc.)
* Oversee asset lifecycle planning and maintenance strategies
People Management
* Lead, motivate, and develop engineering teams across multiple sites
* Manage performance, training, and competency of staff
* Ensure appropriate resourcing levels and call-out cover
Commercial & Financial Control
* Manage contract budgets, cost control, and P&L performance
* Approve quotations, variations, and additional works
* Monitor subcontractor performance and costs
Health, Safety & Compliance
* Promote a strong safety culture across all activities
* Ensure RAMS, permits, and risk assessments are in place and adhered to
* Support audits and ensure corrective actions are completed
About You
Essential
* Proven experience as a Contract Manager (or Senior Site Manager) within Hard FM
* Strong technical background in M&E / building services
* Sound knowledge of statutory compliance and FM best practice
* Experience managing engineers and subcontractors
* Strong client-facing and communication skills
* Commercial awareness and budget management experience
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable
* IOSH / NEBOSH qualification
* Experience within multi-site or complex contracts
* CAFM system experience
